Lisa Jackson is Vice President of Government Relations in Emerson’s Washington, DC office. She joined Emerson in 2001, took on successive levels of responsibility, and was appointed Vice President in 2022. Lisa manages a team that includes federal, state, and international government relations responsible for educating officials on Emerson’s broad range of issues including energy and environmental sustainability; tax; technology and cybersecurity; trade; labor and human resources policies; and other business policy matters.
Prior to joining Emerson, Lisa served as a Public Law and Policy Legislative Assistant to former Congressman Bill Paxon (R-NY) at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and as an intern for
former Congressman Tom Reynolds (R-NY). She volunteered on the campaigns of Rick Lazio for Senate and Sherwood Boehlert for Congress.
Originally from Canandaigua, NY, Lisa has a B.A. in Government from Hamilton College and an M.A. in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management.
